Start Your Indoor Herb Garden Now

Working Women’s Herb gardens:

Looking to get a jump on spring plantings in the Buffalo area?

With the warm weather we’ve had, green thumbs all over the Buffalo area are getting the itch to plant. If you’re interested in starting a garden indoors, try an herb garden, which can provide you with fresh herbs throughout the year. Here are some tips from About. com’s Herb Garden Guide, Amy Jeanroy.

Oregano is a popular herb for cooking and very easy to grow — almost as easy as mint.

“All of these will thrive in the lower light conditions of an indoor garden,” she adds.

Rosemary is a common selection because of its fragrance, but it can be very difficult to grow, Melinda says. “So save that for the second garden — or know that if it dies, you are not alone!”

When you arrive at the nursery with your shopping list in hand, scope out the plants with the greenest leaves (or the most vivid color that’s appropriate for that plant). (more…)

Woman driving a speed boat
As the summer was ending i was in beautiful Seattle shooting for Comcast KISW 99.9FM.

This is my 3rd year shooting the calendar. I wanted to do something different than last year on the beach. Something NW like on lake Washington. Teague was our boat driver and gave us access to the water front lake house we set up on.

The atmosphere on the barge is so relaxing and fun, some people lose control of their face. It usually starts with the kids because they’re smaller and don’t handle relaxing very well.

Working women can enjoy weekend with her family & friends by riding boat of her own. That will be real fun for everyone.  (more…)

Summer is Truly for All

Wheelchair working women in summer vacation:

Since individuals with disabilities are more likely to feel less satisfied with life, we need to explore how participation in leisure activities can benefit and contribute to feelings of satisfaction and overall wellness among this population.

While multiple facets may affect satisfaction levels, leisure is a major contributor to feelings of health, wellness and high quality of life.

Enjoying Summer In Wheelchair:
When individuals with disabilities experience a lack of freedom, self-determination and choice is one approach to overcoming those feelings. Individuals with disabilities should be able to choose how to spend their leisure time, whether it is going to a concert, swimming or spending a day at the park.

This summer, treat your child to exciting summer activities designed just for them. (more…)

Working Womens Balcony Garden

Working Women’s Gardening:

You can thought about gardening, a gentle pleasure after completing hard work at office stressful life.

You might enjoy the gardening work with your kid /family together or alone. After having a good result on that you can have beautiful haven close to you.

We found this image on Flickr and elt totally inspired. Normally tomatoes need lots and lots of light and a nice deep pot for them to grow their roots down into (you can go smaller if you’re growing cherry tomatoes).

We’ve had some trouble even on a balcony, but this gives us hope. So if you’re short on outdoor space but you have some room around a bright window, this could be you.

Plus we’r sort of into the whole vine on the inside of the window aspect. It offers privacy and a nice green filter. (more…)

Having Family Picnic in a Vacation or Weekend

Recreation activity of  working women.

Working women having family Picnic in a vacation:

In most cases, family members provide, prepare and cook their own food for a family reunion. Make sure this is organized. Do you want to make each immediate family responsible for their own food? Or should a few of the “cooks” in the family at large be contacted to cook all the food for the reunion.

Whatever you do, make sure someone organizes the food preparation in such a way that you have enough of all the essentials–meats like hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, brats, ribs, chicken, etc. and sides like beans, potato salad, cole slaw, greens, etc. and drinks like sodas, beer, wine, etc. What kind of cookout would it be if everyone just brought potato salad?

If you’re reunion is big enough and you have the finances available, you may want to consider having the event catered either at the picnic or perhaps in a banquet hall or hotel facility. (more…)
