Many working women must have similar eating habits like mine. In too much of rush in the morning to sit down for a healthy breakfast, we rush out and the madness begins. We work till 11.00 and the body feels the need to fuel. We grab whatever is available in the canteen from burgers, donuts, or pastries and finish off with hot chocolate or caffeine.

Before leaving home for work, eat a good breakfast. Eat some poha or upma or egg whites or some cereal and milk along with some fruit. Carry salads, curds and some roti and vegs. for lunch if possible. Snack on fruits or if not possible eat some idlis or veg. sandwhich or sukha bhel . Once you come home have some veg. soup and then follow it up with your regular food along with salads and curds. In office try to take a stretching break – just stand up and stretch your body – every 1/2 hour.

Low Fat: The trick in this case is to have a lot of low-fat and fat-free foods. According to the studies that have been conducted in this matter, this is the diet that offers the best results when it comes to long term weight loss. According to it women should have a daily calorie intake of 1500 calories and men of 1800 calories. 30% of the calories should come from fat and 10% should come from saturated fat that there should be cholesterol of 300 mg. This is one of the diets that you should try in case you would like to have a nice silhouette.

Detox: You could be thinking short term or long term when it comes to detox. It could last for 48 hours or up to 2 weeks. The main point of these kinds of diets for women is to remove entire food groups of the diet to cleanse the body of the accumulated toxins. In majority of the cases, these diets come with strict rules. Usually people must eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and they also have to increase their intake of water to improve the chances of getting the toxins out of their system. Although it may be useful, dietitians are against it.
